Internships are a great way for students and graduates to dip their toes into the world of work. Since 2009, The Rosetta Foundation has offered internship opportunities to numerous young people from across the globe.
Internship positions are available on an ongoing basis at our Dublin office. We have facilitated internships ranging between two weeks and six months, both part-time and full-time. Interns are generally required to assist with all aspects of the foundation’s work, supporting two part-time staff members at our Dublin office. Tasks include:
- Customer relations
- Project management
The Rosetta Foundation is a charity organisation which is funded entirely through private and corporate donations. Unfortunately, this means that we don’t have sufficient funding to offer paid internship positions at this time. However, we will do our best to help prospective interns arrange for external funding, e.g., through their university (Erasmus+) or other agencies.
Translation internships/Work placements
The Rosetta Foundation maintains the Translation Commons (www.trommons.org), matching non-profit translation projects and organisations with the skills and interests of volunteer translators.
Remote translation internships/work placements can be arranged for students who wish to complete a certain amount of translation work as part of their studies. The Rosetta Foundation team will assist you in finding suitable projects on Trommons.org or source suitable projects if none become available.
